That's one thing I like about Bernard Sumner and New Order, also in their remixes: not choosing something because it has got underground credibility in all the scene mags and with their devoted readers, but in a somehow irrational way just doing things without any logic or explanation to them. If you want "tasteful" and "carefully chosen" mixes and collabs, become a Depeche Mode fan.

AJ Wells' interpretation of being "innovative" is a very common one.

And I love his voice. Now sadly out of time, but in its heyday the perfect companion to Neil Tennant.

Ok, so who's got a recording of it? Some meatballs wanna hear it. :smoking:

Is there something on the Radio 1 archives where we can hear it? Since supposedly it was played before the start of the actual radio show?

Don't see anything on soulseek either... :\ohwell:

How far into the show is it? Been scanning it and can't spot it. Judging by the rest of the music played though, i'm not holding out much hope. its going to be cheesy as fuck isn't it?!

Don't really understand that, New Order has tried to be cool also. Depeche Mode just has more money to throw at remixers, and they need it cause Depeche Mode never was actually cool ever to start with.

kind of. but not official for reviews or radios. it belongs to friend of mine from record company business and i wasnt allowed to make a copy of it. i only listened two times and i'll ask for sound clip to share with people here. but if cdr's in circulation like this, it'll leak on internet or ebay in future. i really dont know if its album version or something but it wasnt a remix.

i dont know its because i miss bernards voice so much but it does not sound "cheesy" to me, i love it, tune has its own quality. shame that pete tong havent played it yet, dying to hear the remixes though.

Apparently they were released as "Rockin' over Manchester" or something like. I'd love to hear them.

If I could transfer my vinyl to MP3,I'd do it for ya,Liz.It sounds great.Reminiscent of the mix he did for "Won't Stop Loving you" by ACR.

Depeche Mode may not be "cool"...but Martin Gore is a hell of an awesome songwriter, DM make great albums, and they put on a great live show.

I could care less about remixes....I do really like the K-Klass remix of Ruined in a Day though...

This website has the song "Miracle Cure" as part of a playlist.

Here's a link to the song only.

It's a bit too trancey and not enough BS for my liking. Guess we'll have to wait for the original mix to surface...
