I don't mind that people download this album, but when it comes out I hope that people would support and buy the album. This album is very good and when it comes out I will be doing my part and buying two copies to support them. Anything NO related I have to buy, I just can't have a mp3 copy, I need the sleeve and everything that comes with the cd packaging, I downloaded it like the rest of us here because I can't wait a month to hear this great album but when this album comes out I will definitely buy it and so should every one else who downloads it, let's support this great band and show our love to them.

I went to download off a torrent site last night. but i couldnt access it. then i got a guilt complex and thought to myself, these guys have put alot of effort into making the album who am i to get it for free.
so i'd rather wait and buy the CD. im not knocking those that download this way its just my choice.£9 is nothing.

No I am a real person and I am from New York City and I genuinely love this band and have everything by them, their music means so much to me, the new BL album is very good also, I am shocked of how good it is, I know I sound korny but I have to be honest.

Yes I heard the clips , I will be buy about 3 songs from that album, I am not too crazy about them but I like STARLIGHT and MAP OF THE PROBLEMETIQUE, they are getting very big in USA.

I just downloaded it (thanks for the link!) but I'll buy it when it comes out anyway - it's only right. If you want people to continue to make music (or any art for that matter) they have to be able to make some money from it.
After a brief listen, i think its pretty good personally. Doesn't sound much like NO, or Electronic which i'm glad he's avoided doing. Deffo a bit of the Doves in places but refeshingly different sounding. Have to admit when i heard the single which is the only real electronicy song my heart sank. i like electronic but another re-hash of that we don't need or an album of NO without the bass. Not really a strong single on there though. 8/10.

i would imagine that those of us who like it are going to purchase it when it is released.
plus, i like it so much i will be talking it up, mentioning it on other forums, probably make them another 10 sales.
i have no problem getting in a free advance listen. and they shouldn't either.

I hope that they are just good as these tracks, how can you say they are dull, they are very good tracks with great melodies,guitars and synths.

I hope that they are just good as these tracks, how can you say they are dull, they are very good tracks with great melodies,guitars and synths.
I have given it a chance. Five times i've played it now. But I still can't remember how a song goes after I have just heard it - very forgettable music.
I love New Order , Electronic and anything else Mr Sumner works on. But not this.
I just find this project utterly dull, it's about as exciting as listening to Snow Patrol or Embrace.
Nobody's addressing the most important question- how much whooping is evident? a)none b)occasional c)every track d)not many, but space is reserved to insert them in the live performance if it feels right.

Listened to the advance and I gotta say, musically it doesn't blow me away, but I think this album's really good. It holds together well as a whole, better than, say Raise the Pressure or WFTSC, and has some nice bright spots. But I'm a sucker for Bernard's life is great stuff, so I actually think Dynamo is one of the better tracks.

Thems' fightin' words. I LOVE wftsc (oddly with the exception of Krafty - I know many love this track but I find it kind of annoying).
With all the seemingly initial disappointment for NCAT on the forum, I'm pleasantly surprised that I like the album as much as I do. I can't say it's truly great but I do really like the first half of the album. Very solid tracks and it's just so good to hear Bernard on new material. I do think Sink or Swim is the obvious single and the best track but it could run a tad shorter. The melodies overall are strong, the production is a bit ho-hum and I'd prefer some stronger beats overall. And not to be a total dick but I could definitely do without Jake. Just let Barney handle the vocals. For me, 6 good tracks out of 10 ain't perfect but I'll happily take it over no new material!

I wasn't saying it's better than either, just saying as an album you listen to front to end, it hangs together better than those. The other have big highs and big lows - and I especially love WFTSC and I think am a bigger fan of RTP than most. NCAT reminds me - and I know this is a very specific sort of association - but of the very best of classic rock on a summer's day heading to the beach. Ultimately, I say there's a lot more on both WFTSC and RTP to love and hate -- but given that people really seem cold to the Bad Lieutenant, I felt I had to say I think it's a good disc end to end.
