Why a small venue for the first gig in UK after these long 5 years?

effect return needs to check and modify his post.

Or a mod could do it, if any of them are around.

What about Brazil and Chile? Check please and tell us.

Brazil will be a festival gig. Outdoor venue. Same where Sao Paulo Carnaval happens. Not comparable.

Capacity in Chile is around 15K to 20K, depends on how the venue will be organized inside (moving walls....)

For sure such kind of gig attracts much more audience in South America than in UK.....it is only the 3rd time NO comes to Brazil....2nd time in Argentina and 1st one in Chile.

Well, about Hooky and Bernard, it is up to them. I just want to enjoy the band and the musics.

And you were the only one in the band who did't say a word with us in the entire trip, nah Jack? :skeptic:

Changed my avatar cause don't want to cause more jealous moments between Hooky and Bernard related to me :evil4:

Maybe he's referring to the accent, I always read Nobbys posts with an English accent in mind, he sounds so different in real life.

Hooky's been lovely the couple of times I briefly met him.

Not met Barney, or Steve mind you.

On the other hand, I've got friends in bands, and seen some really weird people get obsessive over relatively normal people who happen to be in bands. I cannot guarantee I'd be as patient as them, to be honest, when talking to someone who is a little bit ... keen. (Not saying that any of you are)

It makes me still nervous, when I imagine, you sit there with a red pen and correct my posts, Mr. teacher. A few years ago my parents weren't happy when you have sent them warning letters which said transfer is endangered. :D

I agree, he is, everyone is different I suppose, neither get particularly bothered by people where we live, the footballers are a lot more recognisable to the masses. My point is that Bernard is more interested in what you like about things rather than being just feeling good that you notice them for being in NO. eg nice to meet you, been a fan for a long time - BS - thanks, whats your favorite song - oh, whys that PH - thanks.

Hard to explain and as I said before it's just my view.

Other boring fact is that you see a lot more of Hooky than Bernard but he has always said, he is a private person

Funnily enough it was Hooky as the more chatty and friendly up to a (relatively) short time ago if my memory serves me right (but none of the band struck me as arrogant), just check the pictures in people's avis up to recent outbursts. Oh the good old days when we knew nothing about bandmembers and could just imagine them to be cool/suck/whatever as we liked and just stuck to the music. Because back then the music mattered.

I met Sumner (travelling with Wise) on a train once, and had a nice friendly chat about the gigs happening at the time. He seemed very humble to me. Spoke fondly of Hook.

I'm happy to hear new music from any of the band, in any form. I've often got more out of the solo/project albums than the New Order ones to be honest. Still loving the Freebass album and EP, and Swing is fun as well.
