Damn good question! If anyone finds out, could they post it here? :)

I'll be going. All day in The LAss O Gowrie then stumble to the gig.

EDIT: Actually, if I recall, when New Order did the MEN, we met in a pub near The Ritz (Joshuas). Therefore, does logic dicate that the pre match for this takes place near the MEN, despite being on the other side of the city centre? :confused2:

Probably, but why let logic get in the way of things like ale? Just sort us a boozer Liam and we'll do the rest  :viking:

Well, it is linked from the front page! :spit:

i spoke to the organiser and she said that she doesn't know yet as they are still sorting some stuff out with the ritz.

it's gonna be through ticketline.co.uk though apparently.

For all those Fall fans, Steve and Paul Hanley will be there as backing band for Tom Hingley and the Lovers.

Also, apparently, Mike Joyce will be there.

Yes, Joyce will be there with Vinny Peculiar.

I last saw Vinny Peculiar in The Bierkeller and there must have been about twenty people there. If that.

I'll just stay in the pub all day i think.

Thanks for all your interest in this gig. It's been a bit of a nightmare sorting it all out but I'm hoping to raise a huge amount of money for Oxfam. As well as Monaco there are some other great acts lined up so pleas try and get there early. Doors will open at 5.00pm with first band on at 5.15pm and the night will end at 11.00pm. There is also going to be an aftershow party nearby which I'll be able to give you more details of soon.

I'm in... The dress rehersal for travel/accomodation is being put into practice (later on) today for LCD Soundsystem...

Greg, Tim & Ally will also be there (or they'd better be, I've got their tickets)! :)

If anyone's looking to share a room give me a shout. I'm flying in from Dublin late afternoon and then on a train to Winchester at silly o'clock the next morning so trying to avoid a costly "single" for the sake of about 4 hours shut-eye.

My sleep-walking's pretty much under control with the new meds now so no need to worry on that front.

Can someone confirm the rumour that less than 100 tickets have been sold for this?

Alan Wise must be promoting it!

i have no idea

i asked the organiser, and all she said was they "haven't sold as many tickets as they thought" which i suppose could mean absolutely anything...

ah well... if that rumour is true then at least it will be an intimate gig to say the least...

to be fair, i haven't seen it advertised anywhere, which is a shame.

Feck! If the gig didn't start at 5pm I would deffo go....but I don't fininsh work until 3:30pm...so I wouldn't get to Manchester til 6pm.
