36 Charles Street. 5mins from Piccadilly Near the venue.
Might be some with spares in the pub but if they've only sold 100 they must be selling them on the night.

Pottsy did an interview on XFM, the gig made BBC6 Music headline news, there's been flyers put up all over Manchester and it's been on the ticketline newsletter as well as other radio stations. I've done the best I can so sorry if people on here feel that I've not promoted it properly.
I can't force people to go and buy tickets in advance but yes you can turn up on the day and get tickets at the door.

Personally, if i was one of the performers, i would be appalled at the piss poor publicity for this gig. Not one poster up around Manchester, not on magazine feature. Just a few articles online.

All the artists and technical crew are giving their time for free and The Ritz kindly donated the venue to me for the night. Each of the bands has donated a signed item and there will be a raffle drawn on Sunday.
I hope that those who have been criticising me on here will be putting their hands in their pockets on Sunday to make donations. My main aim is to raise lots of money for Oxfam and hopefully give everyone a fun evening. And maybe some of you will think about helping out with Oxjam in 2008.

Well one more ticket has been sold (I wussed out of getting one at the door!) I've sorted everything now. All that needs to be done is tell my manager a work to let me go slightly early on Sunday and It'll be fine!
Hope you all don't mind me inviting myself to the pub with yous, it's just I'll be all on my lonesome.
Have no idea who I'll be looking out for in the pub, but I'm guessing I wont go far wrong if I look for a medium size group of pissed alcoholics?

i'm reliably informed that a lot of people are turning up on the night to buy tickets on the door, so added to the 100 that have tickets, and the combined guest lists of all the bands.. it would be nice to see the ritz at least half full :\ohwell:

Well I'm sure, regardless of how full it is, we'll all have a good day but obviously the whole point is to raise money so I've spread the word at work and my local.
Several of my friends have said they would have gone if they'd known about it, but to be fair I think after reading Emily's post she has made an effort to advertise it in the right places.
Anyway, I think I've got about an extra 3 people interested, not many, but it's there innit. I think there will be a lot on the door anyway.
