did thanks, you did very well as always jack, and a good night seemed to be had by all from reports after the gig:bow:      :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Well, I enjoyed it! Worth turning up just for "Dreams Never End" (complete with mid-song breakdown) and Hooky's terse "grow up, shitheads" to early chants of "NEW OR-DAH!!".

On a more downbeat note, Tom Hingley was fucking terrifying....

Hooky should have learnt a trade.

he's basically finished now. :evil4:

Sunrise made my life, It really did!! Always wanted to see that live, and Dreams Never End too!

The place was empty though, couldnt believe it

I was stood at the back with the Movement T shirt on

Saw Pottys at the aftershow but was too scared to say hello, how very sad

I'm the greatest sounded fantastic!

I had lots of fun meeting scary people (and hooky!)

I tried not to be a nutter during the gig and singing along to all the words....I don't think I managed to stay being cool though!

Well done Jack! Great job. sorry for being the slightly drunk girl who shook your hand, you looked a bit scared!

*a slightly hungover CrazyCat*

P.s. What did I miss at the aftershow party when I buggered off early?

P.s. What did I miss at the aftershow party when I buggered off early?

Expensive beer (£3.50 for a BOTTLE!!!) and thats about it

I left at about 12 so I cant really say

And I know Pottys won't bite but I have a habit of making myself look rather silly when in awe

I met Hooky outside the Ritz before the mondays gig and made an absolute twat out of myself. I vowed NEVER to myther again after that :D

I was saved from making a twat out of myself in front of Hooky thanks to Ted Baker cause I kind of lost the ability to speak! But thankfully Ted told him my whole story of coming down from M'boro and everything. I didn't regain the ability to speak when I was having my photo taken with him! He said he loved my tattoos and I was just like *Wibble*

I'm usually so witty (ahem)

Well, quite a weekend all in all!

Set list (probably not in order):

2 Pottsy tracks (help me with the names someone), Sunrise, Warsaw, Dreams Never End, Insight (featuring Rowetta), WDYWFM, Shine and Blue Monday. I think.

Was great hearing Sunrise and WDYWFM again after so long. Enjoyed the set.

And big thanks and congrats to Emily Strange for investing so much personal time and energy into bringing this event together. Chatting to Emily briefly last night, she's not a professional promoter, has the responsibility of a regular job, but just wanted to raise funds and awareness for a cause. Takes courage and commitment to put yourself out there like that. Good job

Also special thanks to Claire and Jert for making the brekkie, G-Man for being 'on duty', Al for sorting out my ticket & Sunday night Hotel, LeggyD for masterminding the Viking invasion of the Aftershow and of course Didsbury Debbie for arranging my single room at the Britannia :evil4:

Monaco's "Happy Jack" was played after Pottsy's solo song - Ally will probably have to help out with that one...

Now, trying to recover and work at the same time... :smoking:
